Stopped in for breakfast. What a mistake. Â My scrambled eggs were good, but everything else was not. Â My husband's eggs, which he requested over easy, came dumped (almost rolled up) on his plate. Â His sausage was cooked to the consistency of burnt leather. Â The home fries had a very sour taste. Â Our cokes were flat, so we swapped them for milk, which was $3 a glass. Â We won't be back.
Review Source:My husband and I stopped in for lunch today - what a pleasant surprise! Â A very fresh and clean interior, with walls spotlighting local artistry. Â The menu was simple and prepared exceptionally well. Â The homemade lemon vinaigrette was a perfect complement to the cobb salad which was made with fresh lettuce, very crispy bacon, homemade turkey breast, etc. Â My husband had a BLT on crusty sourdough bread which was beautifully made and a barley soup that was clearly homemade - delicious.
The prices were insanely low. Â This is a welcome addition to Amenia and this corner of New York and we look forward to returning for Jazz night!
