  The Crab Shack is a fun little restaurant in Crown Point.  The food all tastes fresh, although I docked it one star for the minuscule portions.  I ordered a small fried clams and while the clams were delicious, I got about a total of five strips for six bucks.  These were not what you would call monster strips either.  I also had the lobster roll and again the lobster was tasty, but you only two baby sized claws with a garden of lettuce.  They give you the option of mayo or butter for the roll.  I got the mayo, but instead of already being mixed in with the lobster, they give it to you in a cup which you then add yourself.  I would have preferred it already mixed in like I've had it everywhere else I've had a lobster roll. You can sit outside which is nice although your view is that of a RV park or Rt. 9, but you can't help your surroundings. They serve buckets of beer which is also a plus.  This is set up like a fast food restaurant where you order and pay at a counter and then take your seat.  Your food is brought out to you when it is ready.

  Great news for the north country! A really nice clean snack bar has opened on 9 n in Crown Point and it is worth stopping for. They have fresh delicious seafood, great beer, burgers etc... Prices are reasonable and they have specials weekly. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!!
