First of all I had come here on a date almost three years ago, it was busy, and also on a Saturday night as it was tonight, but it was not busy at all this time, and that shocked me seeing it was 8pm?
Brought my family saying how much i loved their pot pie and so my sister an I ordered it. Sadly to say it was horrible, covered with paprika, which ruined the flavor of the entire plate.
The waitress was also very rude, grumpy and just seem to hate her job.
The blackened steak salad was okay but not something to order again. Steak was well done and not medium rare as the waitress stated.
The only thing that was good was the onion soup.
I debated between four and five stars. Â I decided on four due to the slow, yet friendly service, but the delicious food was well worth the wait! Â
Cranberries is the place to go for some unique and sinfully tasty martinis, they even often have a deal that you get free hors devours when ordering a martini! Â They also have a good selection of appetizers to enjoy while you wait to include fried pickles and potato skin nachos.
Our normally loud and rowdy group was quite silent when it came to enjoying our entrees. Â The blue mushroom steak medallions were said to melt in your mouth and so did the cranberry walnut chicken. Â The most unique dish of the evening was probably the stuffed shells with marinara sauce. Â They were stuffed with ricotta cheese and keeping to their namesake: cranberries!
Absolutely a must visit restaurant and I still look forward to finding out how I get a chance at spinning their martini wheel!
I really like this place. Â Wide open seating makes for a very comfortable dining experience. Â Waitstaff is very friendly making up for an occasional slow process. Â I usually get the burger & baked pot, my wife has enjoyed salmon, pasta, etc. Â All very good. Â I feel good recommending Cranberries. Â In the North Oakland Co/ South Genesee Co area there are only limited "fine dining" opportunities, this is certainly a good one.
