Invited by friends to check this place out. My friend is from Chicago and always says he can't find Chicago style pizza in the STL area that he likes. He really liked it and this is a person critical of his Chicago Pizza. He even told the owner he will be coming back!!! Tons of cheese - sauce good -toppings good - waitress and service excellent. Atmosphere excellent. Will return.
Review Source:Let me first start off this review by saying I have worked in the restaurant industry for 16 years, and to leave a bad review is something I have never done before. Over the weekend my party and I decided to get a take out order of two large pizzas from this establishment. They told us to come and pick the pizzas up in 45 minutes. When they arrived my party sat and waited another 45 minutes, an hour and a half in total. When they asked about the order the bartender began yelling at them, and screaming that there was a party of 30 upstairs, all while the owner was sitting behind them letting this all happen. An apology and an explanation that they were overwhelmed would have been sufficient. I was very disappointed with the extremely poor customer service, and will not only be not recommending this establishment, but warn you away from it!!!!!
Review Source:I'm not usually a pizza person but this pizza is amazing! The sauce is homemade and the perfect blend of spices, the crust is not too thick, not too thin. The apps are all fabulous but be sure to try the fried pickles. The cornmeal breading is to die for!
The beer selection is great, the ambiance is cozy...it's the perfect pit stop after a drive down the River Road.
