Cream & Sugar Cafe

Had breakfast here after a great night at the Wigwam Village.  Highly recommend!  They had the best biscuits I've had in a really long time, along with some wonderful pancakes.  Delicious hot coffee was constantly refilled, and I asked for some oatmeal with nothing on it and it was creamy and perfect.  Fast service and incredible prices!!

We had breakfast here after our overnight stay at the Wigwam Village in Cave City.  The meals we ordered were fabulous and the waitress was super friendly.  She called most of the other patrons by name.  There wasvsome local art for sale near the registers.  The sesting area and restrooms were spotless.  The glea, ing hardwood floors made it homey.  I would definitely recommend the Cream and Sugar Cafe over a chain whenbyou visit.

Cream & Sugar Cafe is located in a storefront in the heart of Cave City and serves only breakfast and lunch.  However, what they should really be advertising is their amazing pie!  Upon walking in the first thing that I noticed was that the decor was warm and welcoming and the booths were comfortable.  The next thing that I noticed was that when I ordered a sprite I was brought a cup of ice and a can of sprite.  I wasn't given another can when mine ran low so it appears that there are no drink refills.  The menu was fairly standard for a breakfast diner.  I ordered a cheese omlet with pepper jack cheese and a biscuit and my boyfriend ordered pancakes with bacon and eggs.  My egg omlet was only made with two eggs and they used cheese slices which did not fully melt when they cooked the omlet.  The biscuit was hard instead of being light and fluffy.  Not a stellar meal.  However, my boyfriend's pancakes were light and fluffy and fairly tasty.  They did have an undercooked section in the middle though.  He did enjoy his bacon and eggs.  This would be a two star establishment however, because I was still hungry after my two egg omlet I ordered a slice of their peanut butter pie and it was AMAZING.  If you are in Cave City and you  don't stop in and order a slice this smooth, creamy, delicious pie then you have probably missed out on one of Cave City's best attractions.  You can even skip the meal, just don't miss this pie!
