I have never been disappointed. The food is wonderful. I especially love their club sandwich or will sometimes venture off to their specials. They offer some amazing homemade soups and desserts too. The hours are limited and will sometimes be closed at lunch time too if they are off catering.
The service is sometimes slow because it is a small place with few employees. However, it is always worth the wait!
A surprisingly good find. Although this place is only open a few hours a day for lunch (11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday), it'd be well worth your time to stop by.
The usual menu is solid, albeit a bit unadventurous. It's mostly made up of salads and sandwiches, with nothing really out of the ordinary, but it's all really quite good. I appreciate the high quality of the raw foods, whether it be a side of fruit or a plate of greens.
Even better, however, are the specials. There's a huge variety of dishes that float on and off the specials board daily (and even hourly, if they run out of something), ranging from lasagnas to seafood chowders, from quiches to pulled pork sandwiches. The ladies in the back do have some talent. All of the selections are reasonably priced, and they're, for the most part, all quite delicious.
Then there's the desserts, which also change daily. Key lime pies, chocolate pistachio cream pies (do try this), gooey chocolate bars, peanut butter and jelly crumbles ... I could go on.
For most people, this place is going to be a bit off of I-95 (maybe a five-minute drive west after taking Exit 14), but it's well worth the detour.
