Jekyll Island Club Hotel

Stayed here for Xmas 2012 for two nights.  History, ambiance, grounds, etc. were to be remembered.  Food was just OK, and very expensive; although their Sunday brunch is outstanding, and worth the price.  Generally overall service is good.  Drinks and bar is expensive as well.  Room prices compared to similar type historic properties I have stayed in other states is very reasonable, but they no doubt make up for it in their bar and restaurants in the main hotel, and adjoining historic homes.  This is a place you come to to relax and maybe reflect.  I will return for sure.

Delicious dinner! The service was exceptional. Wonderful unique server two months in the country from Hungary. She was attentitive and very efficient. Wonderful experience!

pool bar is the best!!!! the food is great and reasonable in price, a definite must is the pool burger. the staff is great and always busy. the drinks will get you where you want to be, "on vacation"
