Mac's

Maybe it was the time of day - 7p - but even at 43 year's old I could have been the grandson of most of the clientele.  

The atmosphere was eclectic - white table cloths, a piano player with the tv showing the baseball game in a relatively small room.  

The menu had a lot of variety but steered more towards steak and seafood so if you are looking for a chicken dish - your choices were limited.

The vodka and soda was strong - always a plus in my book.  The caesar salad was relatively light.  Finally, the cracked pepper grouper over jasmine rice with asparagus for dinner was the catch of the day.  The fish was cooked well, but didn't have a ton of flavor.

While the experience was fine, nothing about the experience makes me want to rush back on my next business trip to the island.

My husband and I loved everything about J. Mac's! Our waitress Natalie was so charming, our crab and tuna was delish, and the bread pudding was incredible!! The live piano tunes made our night. Again, loved it!!!

The service was great and the food was good. Drinks were very good. The 2 stars are because you do not get what you pay for. When you pay the price we paid last night you should leave feeling the food was great.
They are simply overpriced.
