Saw a flyer that said it was family friendly but it was not family friendly at all, no accommodations for a baby and they only had a cheeseburger for kids. The decor was way over the top. The portions were small. I ordered the Kobe beef which was really fatty as was my husband's prime rib. The mashed potatoes had no flavor at all. This was also way over priced for the location, but I wouldn't mind paying if the food was good but it was not worth it.
Review Source:Decor aside ("Is this what Vegas looks like?" my friend asks), Cupid's is not bad but needs to work out the bugs that are typical for a new restaurant. Â Had a leisurely dinner on a Tuesday night (read: let's keep the service moving). Â Start out with extremely good tuna tartare, the fish was incredible. Â Moved onto a poached pear salad - included bacon, which was not listed as an ingredient but a pleasant surprise! Â So far so good right? Â My husband even ordered a glass of wine after browsing the reasonably priced wine last. Â Then the steak arrived. Â My "medium" strip was cooked to shoe leather. Â Graciously, the waiter returned it to the kitchen and I waited for a less charred steak to return. Â And waited. Â And waited. Â Started gnawing on my husband's bone-in rib eye (which was good). Â And waited. Â Strip steak round two is equally over-cooked. Â If the kitchen receives an overcooked steak, don't you think they should err on the side of underdone for the replacement? Â Fortunately the mashed potatoes and asparagus stalks were great so my dinner was not a total waste. Â The owner - who was very nice but overly talkative to our table - offered desserts (we declined) and took the meal off the tab which was greatly appreciated, but he also noted that several other steaks were overdone that night. Â Not a good move for a steakhouse but I'm definitely willing to give it another shot.
