Cuvee is quaint and adorable. Â It's right by the beach and in the heart of one of the most beautiful places on the Central Coast. Â Everyone is sweet and friendly, they even brought me extra croutons, fruit and snacks for my son. Â The caesar salad and the ceviche are incredible. Â My friend had a panini that she also loved. Â I'm dying to try their picnic baskets and have a little beach day one of these weekends! Â Very cool spot.
Review Source:We saw Cuvee in the AAA magazine and thought we'd give it a try. Â Live music from one man blues band Brian Black, friendly greeting, classy ambience. Â Ordered the bubbly flight champagne tasting, a progression of champagnes with generous pouring. Â Also had the Cuvee house cocktail with fresh pineapple...very tasty. Â Saccetinni dumplings were delicious and wife especially enjoyed the leek and goat cheese quiche with excellent quinoa salad, local ingredients. Â Very relaxing atmosphere, very friendly staff offering something deliciously different, cheers.
Review Source:On a mission to get buzzed and get as much alcohol as possible, the wife and I along with a couple friends saw Cuvee. Â Strategically placed as the 1st place to get a drink in Avila, here's how we did...
We just got off the free Avila trolley.  Cuvee is the 1st place in line to get a drink.  Everyone ordered the $20.00 Bubbly Flight which consisted of 4 different types of champagne or sparkling wine.  There's a difference and our hostess did a great job of explaining it.  I must say that after hitting different wine places I felt like $20.00 was a bit pricey.  Here's a tip... I showed the hostess that I did a "check-in" and she gave our group a couple extra tastes. It's a  non advertised check in offer!  Make sure to do it.  We also ordered the marinated olives and we split the salami baguette sandwich.  The sandwich should be split between 2-4 people .  It was around 6 inches but it was filling. Â
There's an option to upgrade your drinks but none of us liked that idea. Â All in all Cuvee was great to our group and the hostess was nice. Â
Will I again?... Â I sure will, it's the first place in Avila! Â Thanks Cuvee.
My family and I walked the 4 miles on Bob Jones Trail to get to Avila Beach. Once we got there, we drenched our worn out feet in the icy, chilled beach water. It felt good until our feet started getting numb. With the sun still blasting in our faces, we decided we needed a DRINK! The first thing I saw going into the beachtown was Cuvee! Champagne bar?? Yes, please! The decorations are so cute and the presentation is wonderful. We ordered 4 drinks and assorted olives.
I got the strawberry puree bellini. DELICIOUS. My mom got the peach bellini which was refreshing as well. If you're not into sweet cocktails, you should try their beer champagne/bellini. My dad enjoyed it thoroughly. My boyfriend got their microbrewed dark stout, which he loved (except for the massive amt of foam!). The waitress also gave us a sample of their microbrewed porter, which I favored over the dark stout.
The check came in a book and the pen was attached to this huge black feather.
Drinks were good. Ambience was good. Next time gotta try their food!
This is the cutest place in Avila Beach by far, and in the top 3 cutest (I can't think of the other 2 right now, but there has to be something, right?) on the whole Central Coast! Wear something nice, go a little bit out of your way, and stop by here for a glass of bubbly, or their own local brew! You will not regret it. Make sure to write a little something in the "guest book" (which is actually an adorable old copy of Pinocchio) before you leave, and if you are lucky enough to have Savannah as your server, give her a big tip! If I didn't live in Brooklyn, I'd surely be a regular at Cuvée.
Review Source:My husband and I had a date night a recent friday night ago. I have been wanting to pop into this place for months as I really enjoy a nice glass of champagne. There is something about the bubbles of chamagne that make you sparkle inside and out! Since it is not tourist season, yet, there were not many people there. Locals keep this place in mind!
The atmosphere is lux. They project movies like Phantom of the Opera (most recent version) on a wall which adds to the atmosphere. We tried a flight of champagne plus their signature parisian champagne. It was great to sample different champagnes and the glass of champagne was DELICIOUS! Not too many bubbles, smooth flavor, I want another glass now! We tried their zucchini, mushroom rosemary saute'. was good, I would have liked the mushrooms cut smaller and maybe add some flatbread crisps with it on the side. Probably would have went great with their cheese platter. It's really a great place to go if you just want to have a drink with friends, or someone special, or a first stop place before dinner or a movie...They also have a fantastic beer selection. GREAT beers! Owners were knowledgable and open to suggestions. We thought it would be nice to have the flights labeled in some way so you could remember what you were sampling.
They are onto something but missing a lot. I give them 6 months.. Very disapointed with the lack of customer service in Avila Beach. I love champgane, but this placed missed the mark. The decor is lacking, the menu is lacking, the service is lacking. How can you mess up champagne on the beach!?!?!?!?
Review Source:Beautifully decorated! Love the style and atmosphere!
Didn't get to try many items since I had already been wine tasting, but the Bellini was delicious. My friend had the non-alcoholic pineapple sparkler, or something to that effect.
Definitely intrigued by the Black Velvet.
Will be back to try food and more drinks. I'll update then. :)
