Daddy Reals The Place

Another disappointment at a Casa Grande restaurant, first beer served warm in a glass, wings not much better. My kid was occupied by the large number of ants on the outside patio.

IDENTITY CRISIS-The place is about as confused as 2yr old watching YO GABA GABA. Lets talk decor it's Half  sports bar half "beach bar" (I use it loosely) there is nothing beach about it Except for reggae a few drift wood signs and some surf boards (although the patio with a sand pit and misters misting felt delightful, and for a brief second I believed I was at a coastal pub) secondly there is nothing beach about the menu heck it's over priced but I did have fried ravioli which is reasonable for the serving.( sounded weird but very good so someone knows how to cook just to bad it's all normal bar food you can find across the street I was really hoping on a seafood menu after seeing the patio. None the less I only went in because I heard of a menu change and I heard the food got better. I guess the ravioli is a testament to the change and possibilies but not an overhaul that I heard about. Oh and my wife went out  with her girlfriends for the "lady's night" and the only thing they talked about was how big the chef was and how great his meat is (carne Asada) she is still talking about it as I write this review. Hopefully from the sounds of his BBQ this the first step towards change if not well I guess it will be just a waste of culinary ability. Hopefully soon the place will be defined.
