I was at this diner today, for the 1st time and it will be my last! While waiting for our food I watched the lady who was cooking the food. Not once did she wash her hands, but she touched all the food from raw to cooked with her bare hands. I used to manage in the food business and what I observed today was absolutely disgusting. She was texting on her phone, wiping her hands on her jeans and the worst was when she went and got change for the cashier, did not wash her hands and then reached into the fryer basket with her unwashed, uncovered hands and to pull out a chicken fried steak and put it on a plate. I about got sick. My mother and I nicely informed the server and we left food barely touched. Nasty food safety issues.
Review Source:After two years I finally noticed the diner's sign, high up on a pole driving along I-69. Everyone knows and stops at the Waffle Houses along the way. Â But having a diner this far north, in Markle? Â
Everyone needs a little bit of help once in a while and, "It takes a yelper's" review "with color pitchers".
Since I already had eaten in Anderson about fifty miles away, I decided to only have coffee with a piece of cherry pie. It was a very good order, for any traveler.
What I noticed was how my pie appeared to be homemade, since I did not want it to appear obvious that I might stand out asking to many questions What I did notice was how large the one persons sesame seed bun was with his equally large double cheese burger. Along with thick French cut French fries. The other orders appeared to be equally generous.
In my opinion, you would receive a much better quality, and amount. Than you would, at a Denny's? A very easy example since you may have already eaten there. And yes I think I will be going there again, before some of the Waffle Houses except the one in Anderson, I like the employees there.
