Sad to say but this was our last stop at our Former favorite North Texas I-35 stop. Â It is not the cleanest is now an understatement. Â The facilities were run down, the floor was dirty, and the worst...... There was a loooonnnngggg hair in the cup they gave us for the drinks. .... Appetite lost. Â
Food we did get was okay but not the stuff we used to look forward too all the way from OKC.
I have never eaten at a Dairy Queen in my life. Â We didn't have these up North. Â We used to - but then they disappeared. Â Or at least they were few and far between. Â I was on my way to the casino, and was starving. Â I stopped off here just because I had never been in one before. Â I got the "Dairy Queen Dude" combo - which is a chicken-fried steak sandwich. Â I know I really shouldn't be eating fast food - but well - sometimes I can't resist! Â This sandwich was AWESOME! Â It was big and flavorful and just terrible-good. Â The fries were soggy-ish, but OK. Â While I was there - the guy working from behind the counter had 2 cones to give away - someone ordered them and didn't want them, or something. Â So he gave them away which I thought was real sweet. Â I thought the food at a Dairy Queen was going to be garbage, but it was really good and I'd definitely go back!!!
Review Source:I know this is a Dairy Queen and the food is what it is, but lack of service is another thing. I had asked for a bacon dbl cheese burger with mayonnaise, what I received was a dbl no cheese bacon or mayo and covered in mustard. I returned to the counter waited for what seemed to be 5 minutes of being ignored "all six people looked at me".  I was able to get the half attention of a young man and said the sandwich I had ordered  was suppose to be a bacon dbl cheese with mayo "oh ill fix it".  2 minutes later I received a new sandwich with pieces of broken up burnt bacon a slice of cheese and extra mustard! Thanks for the great customer service guy's...
