Danny's Bar & Grill

I had high expectations for Dannys. I thought someone once told me it was a cool place and that their wings were good. Well, it may be a cool place at times but this was not one of those times.. and the wings were below average.

The service... I asked for a Killians and the bartender informed me that they dont have it any more... thats fine. So I asked her what they have on draft.. and she looks at me like I have three heads. I guess it was inconvenient for her to rattle off the 5 or 6 drafts. I settled on an Amberbock to sip while I waited for my wings which I ordered to go. It was horrible, nearly flat.

I checked their website before I came and it said they offer slices of cheesecake for dessert. After my wings were ready, I asked the bartender for a slice to go. She wasnt sure if they had it anymore so she went to go check. Turns out they didnt. After sitting there for twenty or so minutes, and having time to analyze the establishment, I wasnt surprised.

The only reason Im giving them 2 stars and not 1, is because I actually got my wings and they came with a nice side portion of carrots/celery and blue cheese.

Look, I dont like tearing a place apart but this was an awful experience from the moment I sat down. In my opinion, this place is a bar, not a bar & grill. Its a bar, and should be advertised as such.
