Delightful sports bar in the Omni, David's didn't disappoint!
The David's Martini with blue-cheese stuffed olives was le-git. Â So good, I almost broke my one-martini-only rule... almost...
Our group started with the shrimp cocktail (yum), the wings (double yum) and the chicken nachos (yum, yum, yum).
I had the ChampionsGate Burger sans bun which was delicious but RICH. Â In retrospect, wish I had split it with someone and supplemented with a salad. Â The steaks were well received by those who ordered them as well. Â The only dish that was a total flop was the rosemary-fig polenta cake. Â Both of the women who ordered that meal were very disappointed. Â We did add on an order of the creamed spinach which was delish - not too heavy on the cream with lots of yummy garlic. Â
This place is upscale for a sport's bar, but very much worth going to!
This place reminds me a lot of the bar at some of the other Hilton hotels. The food and service was very good. Menu isn't too big but had a variety of food choices. I especially enjoyed my Salmon burger. A definite must try and you can substitute the fries/kettle chips with any other of their side dishes.
The atmosphere has a "swank" feel to it, but yet classy. Great bar to watch sports since they have several televisions to watch from. Great place to come and eat while enjoying your stay at the Omni or to just come and eat, drink, and watch a game while in a nice environment without the riff raff.
This place is fancy for a sports bar! While staying at the Omni for a work conference, I stopped in David's a couple nights to have a few beers. The place was usually pretty busy but the service was great. Huge bar area, some decent local brews on draft along with a good selection of other beers on draft. There were 2 pool tables in the back area that were FREE to play. Nice touch! Plenty of seating and of course lots of TVs to watch sports!! If I'm back at the Championsgate Resort again, I'm stopping in for a beer!
