I am rating Deer Oak Lounge a 5-Star for their famous and excellent wings.
Setting: It is primarily a bar - smoking allowed - HOWEVER - there is a seperate dining room off to the side (seperate entrance as well so that you do not need to go through the bar). Dining Room is non-smoking (although it may have a smoke smell from the bar next door - but the doors are shut).
The wings are EXCELLENT. The perfect size - great flavors (over 20 different sauce combinations).
Tuesday night is Wing night -- however, I recommend going on a different night OTHER than Wing Night. They may take slightly longer to cook, but they are very fresh, crispy, and more enjoyable when it's not packed and have to wait for over an hour for a table. The dining is not very big either.
Best time to go is a Saturday afternoon - for lunch, but before the all-you-can-eat Prime Rib crowd.
