Was just there on Saturday. I was a DD for a group that was spending a lot of money. I went to the bar and asked for a Coke. The bartender told me it was $1.50! I told her I was the DD and a place we were at earlier in the night had free drinks for the DD. Her response was, "Then go back to that place." If she was trying to be funny I couldn't tell. Apparently in the past they had a DD wristband that would have gotten my drinks for free. I didn't see anything at the door about that program and the bartender didn't seem to be aware of it. If it is in fact still available then perhaps some training is needed for the bartenders so people don't get incredibly rude responses like I did.
I gave 2 stars because I do normally enjoy myself there, but this girl really ruined this visit.
Not a bad club, but not a great one either. It's slim pickens in Wichita Falls for night clubs anyway.
D&D's attracts quite the crowd, and the music is good (I'm not the biggest fan of country but I can't hold that against them, it's part of their image). Sadly, I felt that the drinks were overpriced even by night club standards, probably because it's the nicest club in the area hands down and they pack people in. They have a big dance floor in the middle of the place; also, there's a lot of tables and bar space but it really does fill up.
It's the biggest and most frequented night club in the area so I guess that speaks for itself.
