The Derby

My son liked helping me pick numbers for Keno, and the staff was friendly, but other than that...   The nite lite chicken and pasta was very bland, my son's steak was way over cooked, and my steak was so so (and expensive).  While I was leaving I happen to see the cook pressing the steaks on the grill.  That might explain something!  I like the fact that it felt like a place that was a town icon, but I'm not really sure why.

O YAAHHH! This place is greeeaat! My son and I ate there while visiting Montana and had the best steaks EVER! We're from California but we're not hippy tree hugging veggie douchebags, we eat steak, but never had steak this good. Will be back for sure!

Steaks are the reason to come here. Fairly pricey for what you're getting.Service is just okay. Atmosphere not so good. Ask for a booth at the back entrance, otherwise open table seating like a high school lunch room. Elbow to elbow and over the top noisy, parking is terrible tight, you will at some time get your vehicle damaged, but again come for the steak or the Lemon Pepper Chicken. Not a favorite place of mine but my wife talks me into coming here.
