Dig's Diner

The menu includes a fried cheeseburger. Basically, the cheese and burger are battered, fried and then placed on a bun. It's as great as it sounds.

NOTE: Dig's Diner has now closed. Another cultural landmark of Warsaw is now gone. The below review is in remembrance.

Dig's Diner is your traditional "greasy spoon". Owner-operated, it get's its character from "Dig", who is usually standing over the grill or at the bar. A great place to get a feel for the local culture while enjoying a decent burger or chili. Dig's claim to "fame" is his super-hot chili (you have to ask for it--and even then they'll warn you if you aren't a regular). It is seriously hot chili. Probably better described as habanero pepper seed soup than anything.

A fun place to go if you don't mind smoke and if you enjoy unique "greasy spoon" atmosphere.
