I always love this no frills locally owned establishment in Interlochen. The service is fast and friendly. The place is very small and simple, cheap, and not touristy at all. Breakfast is great here -- you'll love the hashbrowns.

Oh I shouldn't tell you of our gem here in Interlohcen.
We go for breakfast each time we are here.  Fast, friendly service.  Small place.  May have to wait for a seat, especially parties larger than 4. No room for a hostess.  Honor system waiting outside.   Food is good.  Nothing fancy.  Bread is good.  Ham, bacon and sausage wonderful.

Absolutely fantastic place for breakfast or lunch. Small, local place, not touristy at all. If you're looking for a huge selection or fancy fare, this is not for you. This is home cooking at its best. Generous portions, terrific service...it's all here. Their baked goods (bread, pies) are amazing. This is a *don't miss* if you're in the Traverse City/Interlochen area.
