Admittedly, it's been a while since I've been here, but I was a semi-regular for a while, since it was close to my work and I had a teeny-tiny lunch window and Bud's wasn't there yet. Â They looked at me like I was from outer space when I ordered a veggie pita, and I think I may have been the first/only person to do so. Â I wonder if the giant tortilla pie is still in the display? Â It's a behemoth and my husband and I were always curious about it. Â
I would describe it not, as a previous poster did, as "a good place to pick up a sandwich" in Interlochen, but rather, "a place to pick up a sandwich in Interlochen." Â Even in this teensy-tiny town, there are better options. I am shocked that it's still in business.
Good place to pick up a sandwich if you are in interlochen. Â I visited the other day and was pleasantly surprised that this is more than just a bakery, they also sell gifts, sandwiches. Â I had a pretty good veggie pita, only could've been improved if the pita had been warm. Â Decent vegetarian selection, but carnivores are not left out either. Â Baked goods looked amazing, another time for those. Â Dine in or carry-out.
