My husband and I were staying in the area for the weekend. I had high hopes for this place because of all the positive reviews. I must say the building looked cool! But the service and food were awful. I ordered a barbecue sandwich... It tasted burnt and was dry. Hubs ordered a burger... He said it was very dry and lacking flavor! We ordered onion rings to try and they were really bland. The wait staff was less than attentive. Our food actually sat at the window waiting to be served to us for 10+ minutes. And the waitress wasn't good. The food was overpriced and poor quality. We would not return or recommend this place.
Review Source:3 of us went on Sunday 7/22 @ 2:00 for lunch. Sign said please wait to be seated. We waited and waited and waited, with several of the staff never acknowledging us in any way, even though we were within 6 feet of them. I was on my last minute countdown clock before we were going to bail, when at 30 seconds left we were finally motioned to have a seat. Wish we left! Our order was 2 cheeseburger platters and 1 cup of soup. At 3:00 pm, we finally got our food. This was after a couple who came in well after us got served their lunches (cheeseburger and pulled pork sandwiches) The final kick in the pants was the fact that it was one of the worst, flavorless cheeseburgers I have ever eaten. Tough, overdone and without taste. A burger should be a signature item for a "diner". But this is a pretend diner with terrible burgers and a complete lack of  wait staff/kitchen organization. Maybe, maybe the Italian items might be its specialty, however, the Italian wedding soup was obviously, from its heavy salt content, out of a can. Sad, sad, sad, needlessly long "diner" experience.
