This must be a hidden secret in the Lake George area! Â So glad that we drive down the beautiful tree-canopied street even when we thought we were going the wrong way! Â Atmosphere was great - location amazing - we drove through town first and none of the chain joints had any cars in the lots - but this place was hoppin'! Â Food was good - all around great experience! Â Best place we ate at after five nights in the Lake Placid area!!
Review Source:Let's be honest the Docksider has a great location and the outside seating area is great during nice weather. Â I'll even go as far as saying their chicken wings are pretty good. Â However I've been there about 7 times now and each and every time the food has been pretty crappy. Â If you're looking for good food outside of something that comes from the fryer, look elsewhere. Â If you want a nice spot to hang and have a few drinks on Glen Lake, check it out.
Review Source:I went to this restaurant while I was visiting my family in NY. Great little restaurant set right on the waterfront of Glen Lake. The service was a little slow since it was busy when we first got there. The cheeseburger I got was cooked just the way I wanted it and it was still really juicy with good flavor. The sweet potato fries with the strawberry dipping sauce were a hit as well.

The we're out of my first choice so I settled for the Haddock fish fry. Â Nice piece of fish, but the batter held a bit too much of the grease for my taste. Â Fries were ok, slaw a little better. Â
The waitress was uninterested, the price was average.

Very nice setting, especially if the weather is nice; outdoor sitting is available.  The food fare is decent; nothing really outstanding that I remember...  Just a very pleasant, laid-back  way to spend the daylight hours...  Also, check out the friendly oversized cat (I forgot its name).
Review Source:After a morning of kayaking, my friend and I decided to grab a quick and delicious lunch. At first glance, I thought the place was a high-end seafood place as the restaurant has a scenic view looking out onto the shore of Glen Lake. But it served great food at a reasonable price.
There is indoor and outdoor seating. Waitstaff is very helpful. Service speed is decent - ~30 min for us in and out. Menu offers a variety of selection - seafood, burgers, pizza, etc.
We ordered a basket of fries and pizza special, which for $10 gets you a pitcher of soda, a dozen wings, and a medium cheese pizza. Talk about a deal! Even without the fries, the meal was very filling.
My biggest complaint was the fact that we only got 11 wings instead of 12. But oh well, probably an honest mistake.
