I love Doc's. My best friend and her fiancé moved from Cinci to Lebanon and this is the best place up there for all of us in our early twenties to get good, reasonably priced all American food. I can't say much for most of the menu because I ALWAYS get a medium cooked cheeseburger. Finally a place that doesn't over cook a burger! It's actually medium! Not only that but it's nice and thick with lots of flavor and two slices of perfectly melted cheese.

The first time I went I asked the waitress to bring me a fruity drink and she made one up for me. It was amazing! Not only that but she actually remembered it the next time we went in and wrote the recipe down for me.

Now I know everyone likes the fried green beans but I would not recommend them. My friends loved them too but I couldn't taste any green bean...way too much batter and grease-they would have done better to do a tempura type.

Just order a medium done cheeseburger. You won't be sorry.

It was a decent "bar food" restaurant. I would have given it 3,5 stars but Yelp doesn't allow it.

The food was appropriately priced for this mostly meat-based sandwhich/burger menu.

The service was not bad, but it wasn't good either. There were 4 tables, yet the single server and two cooks were running around like it was a full house.

We were intrigued by the idea of deep fried green beans, but in reality none of the green geeks flavor came through the thick breading or the obligatory ranch dressing.

The sweet potato fries were great but don't pay the $1.99 for a side upgrade. For the small amount you get, it's not worth it. Instead, I'd there's a group of you, just get a $2.99 basket instead.

This reviewmay have a slightly negative tone to it, so I want to reiterate that this is a solid spot if you go in knowing what to expect.

This is NOT a 4 or 5 star restaurant by any means. I rated this as an OK bar food restaurant. We were a party of four on a Sunday evening. We waited about half an hour before any food showed up - there were about 10 people in the restaurant, so it was not a case of being too busy.

The salads were good, the leek soup was also good. However the entrees - salmon, grilled chicken and steak sandwich - were OK but not close to being 4 or 5 star entrees. The fried green beans were flavorful but pretty heavy on the breading and grease - if you're expecting a tempura-like experience, you will be disappointed. In contrast the french fries were not greasy at all - I think they were either baked or microwaved rather than deep fried.

The chicken was well-cooked, just on the edge of being over-cooked. We also found the chicken a bit tough. The salmon was moist but also on the edge of being overdone. The steak sandwich was good with interesting flavors.

It's a casual spot with under-whelming decor. Overall we found it an OK dining experience but not one that I would go out of my way for.
