Don's Bar

What?  No mixers?  Asked for a gin and tonic.  No tonic, I was told.  How about wine?  Bar tender scrounged around in a fridge and came up with a small bottle of cheap chardonnay.  My friend asked for a Bailey's Irish Cream.  No liqueurs, bar tender says. What do you have?  Beer. Hard liquor.  No food.  

A real dive, as others have mentioned.  Even a little scary.

Its a place like this that makes traveling so fun.  

I was in Petoskey for my wedding and staying down the street at Stafford's Bay View Inn.  In need of a place to hang out with 30+ friends the night before the wedding we made our way north to Don's and loved every minute of it.

Its a dive.  Its dirty.  Has crazy signs on the wall like if you bounce the cue ball off the pool table you have to put $5 in the jukebox.  Is super weird and I can't wait to go back again.

Its Northern MI - its Don's and its awesome.

This place is F'in OUTSTANDING! Pool, darts, Jukebox, Giant American Flag, Male Townie throwin a bottle at the male bartender while outside waitin for a cab, cheap beer, cheap drinks, lil old lady bartender that looks like the "Where's the Beef" lady, Female Townie fallin down outside and inside. Really just a good damn time! Next time I'm in Petoskey I'll be right back here!!!
