My families boat is a stone's throw away from Dudley's Deck. Generally I drink free beer or wine on my boat with the same view and same great people watching pleasures that are offered by Dudley's Deck. Saturday we decided to get dinner at Dudley's to change it up and how unsatisfying that experience was. Everything on the menu is over priced for what you get. I ordered the burger to be safe and it was dry and over cooked ( I ordered it medium). The waffle fries were the only redeeming item. As Ingrid P. wrote - go for the drinks and the view, not the food. Don't bother with the food.
Review Source:You don't come to Dudley's Deck to eat, you come for the cocktails -- and for sunset cocktails, there is no better place in Michigan. Â Not only in Michigan -- I wonder if there is a nicer place in the world than Dudley's Deck for cocktails during the summer. Stop by and watch the boats come in (or out) and watch the silly people in their pink shorts and shoulder-slung sweaters and then have the lovely college students serve you a few nice gin & tonics. Â
If you must eat an actual meal, come here for drinks and then go inside to eat (the kitchens are separate, and it's evident in the food).
