There are a few other places where people have added reviews for Dornan's, but this one has the correct map location and web link, so here goes ...
Where in the world can you have bison burritos with habanero cheddar while drinking a bottle of Southern Rhone wine (Cypress Cuvée) selected by Kermit Lynch, while a David Bruce Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir and Monterey County Grenache (Lee Family Farm, a Morgan Winery bottling) chill outside, and storms blow in from a 14,000 foot mountain peak across a winding river valley, and bright yellow aspens quake and rustle in the late September breeze?
It's obvious, right?
It's gotta be Moose, WY.
Obviously.
Perhaps Dornan's needs a little explanation. Where else can you get five kinds of Ridge Zinfandel (including the all-important Geyserville) and a Chehalem, plus a Gigondas for the road, all the while reminiscing about your wildlife sightings hours earlier on the trail to Amphitheater Lake or your boat ride to Cascade Canyon?
The Chuckwagon may get all the summer seasonal hype, but I'll take the wine and the aspens at peak fall foliage, any day. Osprey cabin was a lovely overnight spot, with a full-sized kitchen for preparing said bison burritos while sipping Kermit's GSM blend outside on the patio until the winds drove us indoors for the night.
There is more to Dornan's than uebercomfortable cabins, ultraclassy wines, and ravishingly rugged Teton mountain views.
But honestly ... isn't that enough?
