I have only come here on Wednesdays so far. Â My experience has been pretty good here. Â I have not tried their martinis yet but they have great bartenders and they have Angry Orchard on tap, which is pretty dern cool.
Karaoke on Wednesday night is great and there is a nice crowd that comes in for that.
Let's just say very cool and quiet spot... I was enticed to check it out because they offered a very good happy hour draft rate & free pool on Thursdays... There is only one pool table so if you plan on Hustling well you need to get there early to stake you claim...
The Bartender during the day is super cool and always is eager to serve you and replenish quickly... Of course if you're tipping well you never have to worry about running out of your drink... It's a very good spot to hang with friends or co-workers during the day ...
I always stop through when I'm in Dearborn for work so now that I'm Yelping watch out.
What can I say about the Double Olive?  When you're drinking everything looks nice lol.  I've been here many, many times.  Its not my go-to bar but its fine.  Nothing to write home about or special.  Drinks are moderately priced (rum & coke runs $6) and the bartenders are fairly attentive.  If you're just looking for a drink this place is fine.  No ambiance, no decent entertainment....just  decent drink at a moderate price.
Review Source:Great place and full of attractive women, well that night anyway.. this review is after the drink!
Great memories of this place, the night I went they had an offer which any draught beer for $1!! 15pints later....
The DJ was good, they got a pool table, the people are friendly.. and of course you must start of with the house special "Martini" with double olive..
I hear this bar in under new management, so maybe it will improve. For awhile, it was getting pretty loud and annoying for a "martini bar", but maybe now it'll settle back down.
The staff knows what they're doing though, so drinks are good, but the company lacks a bit of finesse. I know its a bar, but some of the guys there are a little pushy. Let's hope that changes too.
Bathroom could be a tad bigger. One toilet gets clogged and 12 girls are standing in line waiting for the one other toilet. Rather run down to Howell's and run back sometimes.
Of course they can't help the parking situation, and I think we've all become accustomed to it anyway. It is what it is.
Let's bring the old double olive back!
The Double Olive used to be a 5* but, years back, they added a dance floor room which I feel brought the bar down to a 3*.  The martinis are pretty good, but better if Nick or Megan make them.  I prefer to go there on week nights or Sundays because it gets really packed on the weekend  and that dreaded dance floor room (with a cage) is open.  Parking is either on the street or in the lot.  The lot has meters that you have to keep putting quarters in, so remember that when you go in the winter and have to run out to refill the meter!
Review Source:Since 1997, the Double Olive has offered downtown Dearborn the low-lit bar atmosphere of a neighborhood bar complete with pool but with a fun and inventive drink menu. Enjoy everything from a Godiva chocolate martini or a Dean Martini, which comes with a Lucky Strike cigarette for those with lungs of steel. A dance floor makes it one-stop shopping for a night out, but it isn't very big, so it may get crowded quickly. If dancing isn't your thing, there's always the big screen TV for game day. Note that parking is in back at the new city pay lots.
