  It's a dank, dark, hole in the wall on the other side of town that fits the purpose of a hole in the wall. Came here a couple of times to watch music and to check out the different scene from Alice's downtown. Feel like a shot with friends? The bartender has a ski with 5 shots glued to it, which he will fill up and you will all take it in sync. How does he clean it? With a dirty bartop rag of course. Don't worry, alcohol kills the germs, and after a few beers you won't be worried about catching the next plague, so win!

  One of the few bars in Homer where smoking is allowed. Even though the ventilation system is supposed to help, it doesn't. I asked the bartender about the smoke and she told me that it was smoke free on two days a week, I think Thursday and Friday.
  
  I liked the live music...another Jewel in the making. They have a free breakfast here on football Sundays too. A donation jar is by the food, but not required. It's sure a nice touch. Good free popcorn!

  My all-time favorite hangout in Home Sweet Homer!
  
  Great live music from local bands (yes, Jewel's family DOES play here), great drinks and ice cold beer, fun staff that looks out for everyone's best interests, and equally great BBQs where everyone brings something and the bar spits the pig!  
  
  You just can't go wrong here for anything.  It's clean and big, with fantastic artwork on the walls, old maps, and lots of room to dance!   Customers have either known each other for half of forever, or tend to be like that after five minutes.  It's a smiling kind of place.
  
  Love this place, and miss it alot while down here in Texas.  Just can't find a place like this anywhere but ... there!

  One of my two favorite bars on Homer. They often have some free food and live music. On Mondays they show porn on the tvs. Free horseshoepits outside.

  One of my favorite bars in Homer. With a huge deck in the back and four pairs of horse shoe pits it's one of the best bars to pass an afternoon on a beautiful day.
  
  If you are looking to rub shoulders with local salty dogs and smart ass bar tenders this is the place for you. The drinks are pretty cheap and they tend to have amazing barbecues where local community members cook up some good food and all you have to do is buy the beer.

  This is a great bar.  3 kinds of local Honey Mead on tap, all the local beers from the Homer Brewing Co., and live music several days a week.  This is local charm at its best and lacks any sort of pretention.  Splendid view from the back deck, horseshoes, a pig roasting spit, you name it.  My favorite bar in Homer AK.

  A local favorite hang-out and as neat a bar as one could ask for.  The bartenders were pleasant and attentive and the atmoshphere was casual and fun.  They feature live entertainment on weekend nights, such as Three-legged Mule.
