I suspect there is a specific niche of people who will absolutely love The Draft.
...
Personally, I hated the place...
Maybe they were just having a bad night. Or maybe it just wasn't for me. Or perhaps it was a little bit of both.
During my recent visit, the entire restaurant (bar?) seemed chaotic and poorly managed.
I LOVED the idea of having beer taps at my table, but HATED both of the beers that were on tap there, so I never got to take advantage of that neat feature. Also, the table was very small and in a high traffic area...it was as though the table we were seated at was added in as an afterthought.. Even though there were countless TV's in the establishment, none of them were fully visible from where I was seated. [Not to mention the intense noise of dozens of TVs tuned to different sports programs; all at the same volume level}
The wait staff were not particularly hospitable, nor prompt. I cannot comment on the food, as we only ordered drinks. Â I found myself wondering whether the waitress would deserve a tip if one had purchased only "self-serve" lager.
Overall, I'd say that The Draft is a good choice for middle-aged males who want to watch sporting events with their friends while pouring their own drinks....
Oh. Â Wait. Â That sounds remarkably familiar. Â ...Staying at home with a few friends, having a few beers, and watching the big game on the TV.
The Draft is just like that. Â ...but less comfortable, noisier (damn those TV's), and more expensive.
Keep in mind, this place is new. The staff are a little slow and maybe inexperienced, but the quality of food and variety of craft beer are unmatched in Conway. At night, the atmosphere livens up and the place is electric. So, if you're in a hurry to eat or have to be waited on nonstop, go to Taco Bell or have mommy make your food and drink. Quit your whining and try to think of someone else besides yourself.
Review Source:Great bar for Conway area. Â As I quote a friend of mine, "I would be happy to bring corporate customers to the place." Â Beer and sports screens is certainly the focus. Â I would like to see more tap variety, but the food is really good and the beer systems are really fun! Â Staff is polite and friendly and goes out of their way to please. Â I like this place. Â I think it a great addition for Conway. Â You will see me every Friday after work for a little wind down and pint. Â My wife likes the mixed drinks and they have a great variety too. Â Good fun minutes from UCA and business centers of Conway.
Review Source:I'm surprised by some of the bad reviews.  I guess anyone can have a bad experience at a place that normally hits  a home run.
The food, mainly sandwiches and burgers, is actually good. Â The beer selection is decent. Â This place has beer taps at some of tables. Â I have never seen this before.
Conway should be happy. Â Conway is in a dry county and it wasn't that long ago when you could not get a drink at any restaurant in Conway.
The sad thing about this new joint is that the owner obviously spent 6 figures on an amazing build out, huge tv's and screens every way you turn your head, and a great atmosphere with the latest in technology. Â Who'd have thought you could help yourself to various taps of beer...
The food is also pretty darn good. Â The pretzel for an appetizer didn't let us down. Â Was a little bit sweet, but a must try. The homeade chips are awesome. Â And my club sandwich was a 3.5 out of 5, which is better than your average club. Â
The service is HORRENDOUS! Â Obviously understaffed, and these girls don't have a clue (I did see one guy server). Â Not only did my companions wait over 15 mins for 2 longnecks, it was a hassle to get another one for one of my friends, and the other said forget it, it wasn't worth the wait. Â We had to hunt down our waitress for the bill, and all of the alcohol was DOUBLED. Â Yes, we ordered 3 beers, were charged for 6. Â
Unfortunately, if they don't get their act together real quick, the owner of this place will go to his grave in debt.
I think this is a great new place for Conway area! The concept is great. They have a couple taps on the large tables, tons of large TVs, and some good food to nosh on. Definitely a place to post up and watch sports.
First off, a small complaint.. It bothered me that I wasn't greeted by one of the two hostess when I walked in, they were talking to another employee and I stood there for a minute, unacknowledged. But...other than that the rest of my experience was good.
Once we sat down we were greeted by our server. He was friendly. We didn't take advantage of the taps (mainly a domestic selection at the table from what I could see) Â Our group ordered some drinks from the bar, Big Ass Margarita, Tequila Sunrise, and some Blue Moons. Which reached out table in a timely manner.
Had a few apps to start, mozzarella sticks, mini mac and the pretzel. It says on the menu that the pretzel is filled with cream cheese and served with queso, mustard, and melted butter, however it showed up with with chocolate and powdered sugar. Which was AMAZING but i was confused that something like that is on the app part of the menu and not a dessert option.
For our entrees I had the Razorback which was a bacon cheeseburger. It was scrumptious with the side of onion rings :)
I know it tough opening a new establishment and there is going to be some kinks but I'm a patient person and would go back in a heartbeat.
