Vespers is very kid friendly. Unfortunately my expectation for good food is greater than the average 5 year old. Â I order the fish and chips special on a Friday night which is a big fish night in this part of town. The order consisted of cold soggy fries and thee small finger size pieces of fish. The pizza my daughter ordered was a close clone to a cardboard box frozen pizza. Without the coast of drinks this sad example of friendly bar food cost me $35. Captain D's would have been a wiser choose for fish and chips this night. Â What always bothers me most of all is the people that cook this food with little to no effort then having it brought to your table knowing just by the appearance alone, this is something they them self would not eat. Yet it still makes its way to my table with out an apology.
Review Source:Good food, drinks, and very kid friendly. My wife and I go with our family, with our friends, and occasionally with each other to this fun and friendly bar. Get the appetizer sampler and a Bianca pizza. Everything else on the menu is also tasty. Great place to watch football, and hockey. The wings are outstanding. The staff will make you feel like a regular the first time you go.
Review Source:Vespers is a sports bar connected to a laser tag center and arcade. I don't have children, but I can imagine how great it would be to let the whole family enjoy themselves. The bar area itself is large, and features plenty of tvs. Blues and Cardinals take priority, and there are usually giveaways during the games (often free tickets!). There is also video trivia for free at all times, which is great. Ask the bartender for a handheld machine to play. They also have a couple of dart boards. The only thing they are missing are some electronic ones, and their shuffle board table is now gone. Bring it back! Even so, lots of drafts, great pizza, good service, and a fun sports atmosphere make this bar a favorite!
