ORDERED: Lynton Haddock Fish Sandwich (Our classic fish and chip haddock served on a Sheboygan Hard Roll with lettuce, tomato, and homemade tartar sauce.) $10.95. I chose sweet potato fries with house made curry sauce.
TASTED: Great sandwich! The haddock fish, along with cod, are the most widely used fish in Britain's fish and chips. (Warning: I long ago learned not to Google image search the various fish I consume.) The house made tartar sauce added a nice tart bite to cut through the fried fish and the locally made bun held its own. The sweet potato fries were the crinkle cut variety, looking similar to Culver's. Devon's curry sauce is awesome!
Note: The bread and butter served before the meal is outstanding. I found myself dipping fries in the butter.
I drank a few cups of locally roasted coffee although I can't remember or find the name of the roaster. A great lunch, great service with an unexpected focus on farm to fork.
