Dunes Restaurant

They must have had a change in management, because this place gas gone down hill over the years... I cut them some slack for the first 45 minutes because it was a busy weekend, but it ended up taking an hour and a half from when we ordered, for the food to arrive. We had ordered two sides of bacon, which looked like they threw it in a microwave for a minute. It was cool and transparent. My husband never sends food back but actually asked if it could be cooked a little more. This just irritated our already rude waitress and when it returned it was blackened and tasted like fishy french fries, so they obviously just dunked in the fryer. If you're still reading, take our advice and DONT waste your time or money here.

We always come here for breakfast when we're on the peninsula.  Great service and food.  This time we both had the shrimp omelet.

This is the WORST restaurant I have EVER eaten at!! I have never left a place more upset than here. I came here with a group of 3 that came in from out of town. After waiting at least 15mins for the lady bring us water & take out order (that should have been the 1st red flag), we then waited another hour for our food (while we waited one person from our group, walked to the store and got a soda & a candy bar, came back, then walked to go get a burger from somewhere else, ate it, then came back). Our food was finally had arrived! We should have left in the middle of waiting for our food.

We ordered a side of hash browns & literally ate it in 3-4 bites, because 2 tablespoons of potatoes which cost $2 and something, I guess that is a side to them. Since our food took so long we asked for our check when we got our food. I wish I was exaggerating, (at this point I was so upset I kept track of the time & how long everything took) we waited another hour & I had to go up & ask someone else for our bill. We were there roughly 2  1/2 hours! Our waitress was beyond rude & the busser helped us out more than anyone. I eat out a lot & this has been the worst place ever. I wish we would have gotten a different waitress; maybe the experience would have been better.
