I've eaten here on multiple occasions over a long period of time beginning with Dusit's opening. The vegetables are always wonderfully fresh, the servers are courteous and attentive, and the wait is always brief. The place is kept clean and every dish I've tried has been delicious. Eating here is one of the things I look forward to when I go to Mountain Home.
Review Source:Eat Thai food everywhere and was told by the locals this was up to par to a big city restaurant. Not quite. The yellow curry (pictured) was delicious, a bit too much coconut milk but the seasoning was perfect. The cup of rice given with this dish was over cooked and mushy. I also ordered beef larp (laab, laap). It didn't taste how it should at all in my opinion. Tons of onions, very sugary, without the lime sour it desperately needed. It usually is paired with sticky rice but they don't make that here. I'd go back for the curry again since its the only Thai establishment around and perhaps try a few other dishes.
Review Source:I'm from Texas, and while you may not think so, there are some really good Thai restaurants where I live in Dallas. But If Dusit opened a branch in Dallas, I would definitely go. The staff was extremely friendly and took the time to make small talk. I ordered the Pad Kee Mow, and I do like spicy food, but that Kee Mow was REALLY spicy. Like, they did not skimp at all, but it was good. So, try not to ask for 5 stars. Ask for 4 stars instead. My sister ordered basil stir fry, and it was really good. Generous amounts of chicken and veggies. If I was to ever go back to Arkansas, I'd probably eat there again.
Review Source:I visited this place last week while in town visiting family. I have been going to Thai restaurants in Chicago for 30 years and have travelled to Thailand a couple of times. I met Sam the owner and he is from Pattaya, Thailand. When opening his restaurant, he researched cities that had no Thai restauranrs and he found Mountain Home.
I ordered what he calls a summer roll. I thought it might be like a spring roll back home. It was uncooked like a spring roll but the lettuce and sprouts were wrapped in rice paper like I have had in Vietnamese spring rolls. In any event, the peanut sauce that accompanied it was very flavorful and made the summer roll very tasty.
I ordered pad thai and asked for chili sauce on the side. I added some sauce and it had a very good kick. All in all the pad thai was very good.
I like to order a lot of bbq when I visit Mountain Home. But I will definitely be back to visit Sam at Dusit Thai.
As our minister so aptly put it, "that place is a gift from God."  He's not a little man.  I really like going to Dusit for lunch (garlic chicken-ooo lalala  and pahd aspargas specials are my favorite).  My husband likes the hot beef at dinner time.  My son always gets the satay appetiser and mangos with stickey rice.  They even showed us an effective way to peal a mango.  My foodie friend who travels the world working and eating actually doesn't mind their Green Curry (it's the only place in Mountain that she eats).  I hope the pastor keeps praying that they stay in Mountain Home for a long time to come.
