From my experience, it was more of a "Meat And Three" rather than Mexican... but I'm not surprised; I'm sure the cook/waitress is Mexican and think the owner/waitress is, too - and partiallyy saw a sign about speical take-home deals for Mexican delicacies. The food was good, but not terribly impressive - but VERY quick, and very large portions, Â with plenty of bread... AND dessert for under $8.00
I was most impressed with the generosity and spirit of the staff, the enthusiasm of the owner, and the friendliness of the customers!
I was there for lunch. The rainy weather altered my plans and passed back that way around 4:30 and they seemed extremely closed; doubt they are open for dinner, but I might be mistaken.
I seldom head very far south of Huntsville, but if I get back to the Oneonta area, I will do my best to make it around lunch time... and drop in the Eastside Cafe again!
