Wife had turkey pot pie. So, so. Needed more pastry dough. Just has a thin cover barely covering top. Also had the tar heel burger. Good but nothing memorable. Fries were frozen variety but crispy and OK. Service friendly but not very attentive considering how empty the place was. Left satisfied but probably would have enjoyed breakfast there more. Â Prices a bit high but they are out in the country. Shakes and cinnamon rolls may be worth a return visit.
Review Source:This is part of and owned by Clark's Resort, on the same property. Interesting little place, with indoor service and a walk up window. Specials posted outside on a chalk board. Note, the servers are not bound by the pricing of the specials. Had dinner there 8/26. Wife ordered the special turkey dinner. It was badly done, overcooked, tasteless. I ordered a chicken Cesar salad, the server did not know what that was. She was also the cook. Couldn't find any lettuce (530 pm), the chicken was apparently left over from earlier in the day or week. Dressing was maybe some off brand Italian. However, the Clam Chowder was excellent. If by chance you must stop there, try the Clam Chowder. Hint. you can find other eating options in Marblemount and Rockport.
