Marblemount Diner

After a long day of hiking in the north cascades, this food really hit the spot.  We were surprised by how good it was.  We got the south of the border burger and the French dip sandwich.  Both were very tastety.

surprisingly good, especially for the area, there weren't that many options! My milkshake took a long time, but the beer batter onions rings and fish n chips were awesome! Even tried the french dip, which was meaty and flavorful! I could've lived without the garlic fries but the strawberry rhubarb pie was pretty yummy. Wish the pie was warm but homemade food always hits the spot! :)

So many of my friends have told me about the pies at this place and this was the summer we were able to stop by.  It was everything I had hoped.  They had 5 pies and each was a mile tall.  The slices were large and plenty.  My slice was the blueberry cream in the photo I uploaded but they also had dutch apple, strawberry rhubarb, chocolate mouse, and a couple more.  They were all really exceptional.  You can tell the owners have decided to make this a cornerstone of the restaurant.  These pies are worth the trip alone.  Next time I will try their burgers which my buddy gave 5 stars.
