Stopped in while passing through Byoonah Vista and was pretty disappointed. We had a beer sampler, and out of 6 beers I would probably only drink 2 of them (if there wasn't anything else around). The service was very slow and the server had a difficult time multi-tasking (we sat in the bar area on a Sunday afternoon), but when we did get our food it was passable. Nothing special and I don't know that there is anything better in Buena Vista, but I'd say skip it.

After a hot soak at Mt Princeton Hot Springs, we found EPB although the signage along 24 points in the wrong direction. We hit the tasting place in town-good samplers with plenty of booze, I liked the stout chile beer the best, and not even a dark beer guy. Marg pizza was very good-almost blackened but not burnt-hot wings were very good but not very crispy.
Good overall service, bunch of rafting guide bar guys whom seem to love their job, great local place to visit, they make you feel very welcome.

Sweet, heavenly serendipity. A sign for pizza captured the attention of myself and my friends. We soon found ourselves in the loveliest little place. The plan was to get ONE pizza for the road, but after it came we immediately ordered another. And we got beers whilst waiting. Amazing beers, amazing pizza, super quick, decent prices, and really friendly staff. I will definitely recommend this to anyone I know passing by anywhere in Colorado, and I'll do my damnedest to return.

Eddyline is completely unassuming and easily missed, but don't.  Don't miss it if you're passing through Buena Vista.

The building is on an awkward corner slightly off the main drag.  It's small and intimate.  I felt like the record scratched as we entered and everybody knew we weren't from those parts.  Yet, at the same time, I got the feeling that everybody also welcomed us and accepted us as a part of the group seeking good beer and good food.

We found a seat at a community table (made of beautiful reclaimed wood) and got down to business.  The menu is brief offering salads, pizza, appetizers, and some sandwiches.  I don't need to look beyond the pizze except to find and appetizer to help pacify my son until the main grub arrives.  As it turns out, our chips and salsa were free since I checked in with my yelp app.

I ordered the "Beer Paddle" which came with samples of Eddyline's Pilsner, Seasonal (Raspberry Wheat), Colorado Pale Ale, IPA, Brown Ale, and Porter.  It ran quite the gamut and they all have my blessings.  In particular, the Colorado Pale Ale and the Raspberry Wheat should not be missed.  I'm a fan of hoppy beers and the Colorado Pale Ale is perfect for sipping or to wash down some pizza.  The Raspberry Wheat is like a nice iced tea.  When the weather warms enough to be able to take advantage of Eddyline's patio, the Raspberry Wheat should flow like wine.  While it did not pair well with our green chile pizza, it was great on its own and should be kept ready for a fine summer day.

The pizza menu surprised me.  I love to try the specialty pizzas from any particular pizzeria I patronize.  I want to see what ingredients they like to include.  Our green chile pizza with basil pesto was awesome and something I never would have invented on my own.  Our other veggie pizza was equally as good and a little more down the fairway.  Don't be afraid of the chiles if you're afraid of spicy.  I detected no spice - only delicious green chile flavor.

We did not try any dessert, but I know they offer a couple.  If they're anything like the pizza and beer, they have to be great.  If you're passing through Buena Vista (or even passing by on Hwy 24), Eddyline is worth a stop.  Don't blink, or you might miss it.

Great pizza & beer. Service was really slow though.

I stopped in here while staying in a nearby cabin and taking a break from skiing over New Years. Long story short, there's some good beer in here.

But I'm drinking a beer now, and in no mood for a short story, so here's some more info. The space is fun, with some very cool (local?) art on the walls that includes an amazingly scenic representation of the nearby mountains. The server was a hoot too.

Oh yeah, the beer. The Pumpkin Patch Pale Ale is one of the best pumpkin beers I've ever had. I had been wanting a pumpkin pale ale for some time now, and was most satisfied with how the pumpkin and hops made a perfect pairing. All their other beers were really solid too. Plus the beer was pretty darn cheap.

The brewery also serves some food, including some very tasty pizzas and homemade salsa with chips. If you're in the Buena Vista area and like beer, Eddyline is your stop. Note that there is also a restaurant location, and I'm not sure that they'll have all of the beers that the brewery location has, so just come here.

Rolled into town, found our rental, headed back out to this place since it is a brewery. Megan was working the bar and greeted us warmly. She offered samples of the beers they had on tap and we settled on our respective beers. She gave us the history of Eddyline and explained that they had a limited menu, but they had a full service restaurant on Main Street (five minutes away). We did order an appetizer and pizza and was quite pleased with the taste and quality of the food offered here. We also met the cook who was also very friendly (for the life of me I can't remember his name; I only remembered Megan since she has the same name as my Keiki2)

    Beer was excellent!

Really wanted to have a great experience here, since I was sad to see only a tepid review on Yelp. Alas, while not bad, it wasn't quite the experience I hoped for.

The taproom itself is charming. The service was friendly and prompt. I enjoyed a delicious pizza with pepperoni and green chilies while sampling six of their beers.

Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the beer itself. It all seemed a little skunky and a little warm--as though it was past its peak hops profile. The Colorado Pale Ale was quite good. The seasonal pumpkin beer was loaded with good spices.

Sorry Eddyline. This was the worst service experience we have had in 5 or 6 years.

We visited Buena Vista as I was running in a race. Eddyline sponsored, so when we were hungry after the race we decided to check out their taproom. There was only one person on staff- so it took 35 minutes for us to get beers- not table service, bar service.
We tried to be understanding, and placed our food order at the bar too, before we got our beers to help out the bartender (although we were sitting at a table). The beers were taking so long, our little group decided to have a shot of Makers. They charged us $8 per shot. Really? That's ridiculous.

After waiting another 45 minutes, one of our orders came out- wings, they weren't all the way cooked. The second person's order took another 15- also wings (why not make those at the same time?) also uncooked! After waiting another 20 minutes for the pizza the last two were going to share, we decided to have it to go. 10 minutes later our pizza arrived to go.

We were especially frustrated when we saw the bill. They are charging fancy Downtown Denver prices for really bad food (its a tap room, come on!). Maybe the food would be good if it was actually cooked and we got it in time?

Sadly we wanted to buy some beer to go to take back to our cabin, but the experience was SO bad we weren't willing to give this place anymore of our time or money.

Nice tap room and working brewery.  We visited both their restaurant and this working brewery.  For food, go to the restaurant up the street.  To visit a cute working brewery with atmosphere (food here as well), this is the place. The IPA is very good without a ton of overwhelming citrus.  I liked it.  Also, you can buy a six pack of IPA to go (16 oz cans) for 9.95, which is a steal. We brought them home to Denver.  Nice!

The Eddyline is a brew pub with a personal pizza menu in the heart of Buena Vista.  We found the service to be good.  There is a beer flight available to sample the brewery's output served in small glasses on a paddle, six at a time.  From light to dark.  The stand out by consensus was the darkest stout.  The raspberry ale was more like a soda pop.  The spicy porter is interesting, but I can't imagine enjoying a whole pint of that, but there's no accounting for taste.  The interior is decked out with colorful murals depicting Colorado outdoor lifestyle activities.  I'd suggest trying this place after a hike or rafting trip.  The emphasis is on the brews, not necessarily the food, although the food was decent.  Be forewarned, the seating area is small.

It is a taproom/pub, not a restaurant.  So my food expectations were fairly low.  But not this low.  They advertise, right on the front sign "Wood fired pizzas", so it sounds like they should have something going, food-wise.  Unfortunately, the front-room manager was surly and dour (although the bartenders were nice), and the pizza came out soggy, which they explained, "was because we just cleaned our pizza oven and its not hot enough".  Really?  At 4pm on a Saturday?  That ranks pretty high on the incompetent scale.  Anyway, they took the pizza back and we ordered nachos with chicken, which were terrible.  No peppers, but a lot of "rubber" sliced olives from a can, and the chicken was little mushy cubes, like it had been pre-boiled and reheated, and the remainder was a dry heap of chips and a few pinto beans.  For $11 they should do much, much better.  Fortunately, the beer was excellent.  So come for the beer, just don't eat here.
