Go in. They'll order fried chicken, fried okra and 2 beers for you on sight. Proceed to  sit down, enjoy some effing amazing fried chicken. Some advice: don't flaunt you're from the city and definitely don't ask if cowboys get into fights their. They don't, but they'll laugh if you ask them that.
Review Source:I still love this chicken!
I don't know where that Kaitlyn person got that the chicken costs $16. Â I was just there Friday, October 4 and its $14. Â And yeah, it does seem pricey since its a lot more than what I used to pay for it, but then again, so is everyone else. Â You would pay more at a high end restaurant for less chicken and smaller pieces, and you "might" pay less at a fast food joint that the chicken may be smaller and bland. Â A WHOLE chicken for $14, deep fried to perfection with amazing seasoning. Â It doesn't come with any real sides, just some bread slices that have been cut in half and a tray of bread and butter pickles, dill pickles and onion slices. Â
We bought two chickens and still only got one boat for the bread, and one for the relish (its what I call the pickle and onion boat). Â But when we did the orders to go, because you can't go and not have to get some for home to deliver to friends, you get a lot more, or it could be because we ordered so many that we got a loaf of white bread (no there is no other choice) and a tray of each relish. Â Go enjoy a nice drive, have some good fried chicken but don't waste too much time or the price will be up to the $16 that Kaitlyn exaggerated about. Â
Oh, and its not the free refill type of place you get a can of soda and a cup of ice.
