Black bean soup original recipe: open a can of black beans, pours content in a cup, cadd some water and warm it up in the microwave: this is what they had the nerve to serve me. I was lucky though because my kids were served a taco with burnt (carbonized to be precise) steak leftover that were carcinogenic only to look at. Stgay away I do not know how they stay on business.

My experience here was so different than the previous reviewer that it's hard to believe we were both at the same place.

For me, the food was pretty good. Better than most typical Mexican restaurants. The chips & salsa were better than the usual since the salsa was pretty thick and plentiful.

I had "Tilapia Tacos". These were presented in a way I'd not seen with other fish taco dishes. But they were really good and the extra-hot salsa that came with them was dynamite. Loved that, a great combo.

The Dos Equis Amber was surprisingly cold - colder than it needed to be, but is that a problem? I don't think so.

I'd be happy to return.

I lived in Southern California for 25 years and I know what good Mexican food is. This is by far the best Mexican place I've been to in the South. Too bad it's almost an hour from where I live. It's been a long time since I've been there and I'm not sure if the quality has taken a dive as the other reviewer suggested. The few times I've been there I never saw an "all-you-can-eat" bar or even an area where one could be set up. I still highly recommend this place.
