My boyfriend and I stopped in after a day out at the wineries hoping for a snack and happy hour before our late dinner. While I admit we stopped in at non- peak before 4pm on a Saturday. Despite the lack of a crowd it toon ten minutes just to be greeted and offered a drink. Â And we're not food snobs... We were just hoping for good chips n salsa and guac. The chips were tasty but the salsa was mostly tomato juice and the guac tasted like fluffy limes... The entrees maybe fine but avoid the salsa n guac as an appetizer.
Then  when we tried to pay and leave there was a problem with the register... We patiently waited but after 15 minutes- just left cash and headed out.  ... Diner be ware ... Really wasn't worth the stop
We *love* El Mariachi, and recommend it whenever we can. Â The food is plentiful, of high quality, and authentic. Â The service is attentive but unobtrusive. Â
A favorite is the taco salad with steak. Â The steak is well seasoned, the lettuce crisp, the whole salad a delight (yes, I know that a taco salad isn't exactly native Mexican fare). Â
The place is spotless. Â A high recommend!
Got here right after it opened and ordered the lunch deal for a special burrito and enchillada.
The food was delicious. It's no top tier restaurant, but at least the ingredients they use is fresh. The meat was cooked well and juicy, not dry like other Mexican restaurants I have been to.
Portions are decently sized for the price you pay. All in all service was pleasant and would come back here.
