When I worked in Toney, I used to eat here at least once per week. I would come during lunch, where they have a very affordable lunch buffet. I believe it was about $7.00 not including drink..
The food at El Paso is always excellent. They have a wide selection of foods, and I don't think I've ever had a bad meal. Their fajitas are delicious, much better than such Mexican hotspots as Rosies Cantina and Las Trojas. The Chimichanga is excellent, and even their free chips and salsa are very good.
I found the staff to be most courteous and responsive. Â
Like most restaurants in Huntsville, the restaurant decor leaves much to be desired. Although they have remodeled over the past few years and its a huge improvement over what it was. But we must remember that this used to be an old gas station, so there is only so much that they can do with the unusually designed space.
If you're driving to Ardmore and hungry, be sure to stop here. You'll be happy you did.
