The Brickhouse Sports Cafe

Entering this sports cafe I couldn't help but think of the late 70's song,  yeah...you know it...She's a Briiiiick Houssssse!  BTW, I always attributed that song to "Rick James Bitch" but come to find out it was the Commodores in '77 and the writer was actually a female, Shirley Hanna-King. Imagine that!!  

Oh, back to Yelping....

This sports cafe is nothing special in and of itself but I have had plenty of good times here thanks to Mike V, Greg M. and others when in town.  As with any of these casual spots the staff rotates frequently and the menu not so frequently.  General burgers, wings, pasta, chicken tenders and below par appetizers have been my experiences over the last few years.

Why do I keep going back???  Great question, the company I hold when in HSV. We made a memory here and so it has kind of become a tradition for me. The first visit to Brickhouse we had a large group of 10 and had a blast. Our server was spot on (I have learned she has since moved on...) attentive, engaging and kept our drinks flowing!  Since then I have received average service each visit and therefore I just give it the 2 stars.

Maybe I am living in the past! Oh well......maybe you could go and make a memory too and check if they have updated their menu!

Bottom line is.....it's an average sport bar. You may like it you may not.  If you are with great friends it would be a good time!

I have eaten at this resturant since it was opened.  It was very good at first then it has gone down from a 5 to a 3 with less than outstanding service and food.  They do not seem to keep their most popular choices but choose to drop items that sell and are very good.  At one time it was one of our favorites but no longer.

I may try again when nothing else sounds good, but not likely to be at the top of the list in the future.  Sad but true!!

We ate here for the first time and thought it was great.  The service was fast.  The selection of happy hour drinks could use a few more selections.  We had wings and they come with a side.  Our wings were good size and very tasty.  I think these are the best wings we have found in the Huntsville area.  My husband agreed.  Average prices. So glad we finally found good wings, so we will definitely be back!
