Shooters Billiards

This is the worst bar/pool hall we have ever been to!!!!  
My husband and I are new to the area and were looking for a few places to go to and have a few drinks and fun.  We wanted to try this place, as it is very close to where we are living.  What a mistake...we will NEVER go to this place again!  First of all, the bartender didn't know what the hell she was doing.  We both ordered a simple drink and the bartender had to ask if they had the liquor to make my drink.  There was some girl running around the whole place trying to take care of everyone and also answering all of the bartenders questions.  They didn't have the drink that I wanted, which was simply kahlua, baileys, vodka, and milk.  After waiting over 10 minutes and watching the bartender making everyone's drinks except ours, we were ready to walk out, and we were finally told that they didn't have what I wanted.  They recommended a different drink, which I agreed to, only to find out that it was a $7.50 drink and we were not told this until after they made it and served it to me, and it was also in a SMALL glass!  My husband ordered a screwdriver, vodka and orange juice and it was all orange juice and it was $6.00!!!  There was some indian guy running around the place, which we assume was the owner/manager and he obviously didn't care, as he was just doing his own thing.  After my husband took one sip of his drink, and saw that there was no alcohol in it, he said that we just want our money back as we were not happy.  The woman that was running around stated, once you take a sip, its too late.  So..after waiting 10 minutes and receiving the lousy service that we did, they refused to do anything for us.  After our drinks, we walked out, needless to say, we did not leave any tip.  
The place is a rip off and a joke, the customer service sucks, and we will NEVER go back there again!
It has the look of a dive bar, but not the quality of one!  Beware!!

Shooters is a great place to shoot pool and have a pitcher with friends. The pool is free as long as your drinking and the waitstaff are super attentive. The smoke is definitely heavy which is strange in this day and age but well worth it for the rest.

Easy going vibe despite a very mixed crowd. Everyone is having fun. The tables are ok but can break right or left so be warned if you are too serious. The have botH the standard easy short tables and longer ones with very tight pockets. So you can find the game that suits you.

Overall a great place!

This is the best pool hall in Huntsville by far and is the most reasonably priced! As long as you spend $5 at the bar you can play pool for FREE as long as you want! The service there is also great and the bartenders are nice, helpful and fast. The same people that own the IHOP next door own the pool hall so you can order IHOP to eat any time you want and they bring it over which is really cool.

The crowd can get a little sketchy later at night but that is to be expected when you are at a pool hall.
