El Patio Mexican Restaurant

Heard about this place from friends and the food was great.  Started off with chips and salsa, salsa was not too hot and the chips were very good.  I ordered gorditas and my with ordered enchiladas.  Food was wonderful!!  Can't wait to come back.

I like El Patio a lot. The food is consistently good and the staff is friendly and attentive. The prices are very reasonable as well. The food is typical of what you would find in other Mexican restaurants, but they do it well.

Okay - I'm in town for business and I often avoid local restaurants because you just don't know what you're going to get. But, in Canyon there aren't a lot of options unless you want fast food.

Maybe the chips and tortillas aren't made in house, but the food is very good and the service was fast and friendly.

The chips were warm (which I love) and the salsa was good and spicy. I ordered the chile relleno (because I'm addicted). The rice and beans weren't the best I've ever had, but they were plenty good. The relleno was also pretty darn good. Lots of spice, lots of cheese, and a little hint of sweet in the sauce. And, again, the service was great. The people there are super friendly. For $8 I got chips and salsa, lettuce and tomato, rice, beans, a beef chile relleno, and 3 tortillas. That's a deal, if you ask me!

If I come back to Canyon for work, I'll definitely come here again. The problem will be trying to decide what to order next time :o)
