It's very good, really decent, definitely the best in the area and one of the best places in the area to eat, period. Since it's 5 minutes from my house we go frequently. Everyone comes here, and they seem to frequent it as frequently as we do. I recommend becoming a regular. Everything is good. It all tastes rather the same so it's all good. They don't "really" have homemade corn tortillas so just get that out of your head and stop dreaming about them. However, the sopesitos seem to be homemade and are good if you like that sort of thing, which I do.
Review Source:Decided to try something different than Casa Del Rio and spotted this place while tooling around town. It's the only Mexican restaurant that I've been to that played country music instead of Latin music. I guess it's a good thing I like country.
Cazuelada is what I ordered. Chicken, steak, chorizo, peppers and cheese served with black beans and yellow rice.
Bam! Â Awesome flavors! Â Sold on this place now. Miguel was an awesome server, pours a killer margarita and gave excellent service. Chips and salsa were okay, ambience is pretty good, and everything else rocked. I'll definitely be back again!
P.S. Â Miguel realized, at some point, that Kenny Chesney was rocking the speakers instead of Marco Antonio Solis and quickly brought the latin back into the mix.
