El Pueblito Mexican Restaurant #6

A good selection of Mexican fare.  I really like their rice.

Who would have guessed that such quality food would be found in Summerville, GA??
El Pueblito is located in a very convenient place along Highway 27 with a big parking lot, and easy entry.
I will explain the single reason for the missing fifth star, before getting to the ravings.
The building itself is old, and can use a major upgrade/remodel, along with the parking lot which (though good sized with plenty of parking spaces) is pretty run down and full of potholes.
That said, the inside is as clean as it can be, and the service and food are a very pleasant surprise!
The staff is attentive and friendly.
I had the Pecuna Relleno, and although I am not sure of the literal translation, the dish presented is a grilled chicken breast fillet, which was marinated in traditional latin flavors and grilled to perfection, served with perfectly grilled fresh zucchini and mushrooms, and topped with queso blanco. The sides are mexican style rice and refried beans which are very traditional.  I would personally have liked a little more spice (and I am sure they would have added some if I had asked), but the flavor profiles were spot-on, and the dish was extremely well-seasoned for the American palate.
This is well-worth planning a trip through Summerville, GA at lunch- or dinner-time!
