Mrs. Claudia is one of the sweetest people I've ever met!
My relative had passed away the week we stopped in and she had loved going here. I'd never been here though. We stopped in the day before we flew home.
Mrs. Claudia had heard of my relative's passing. She was very kind and tried to comfort us. She goes above and beyond for her customers, especially her regulars, and I could tell it's genuine.
The food was good too! We're from the Southwest and know really good Mexican food can be hard to find outside that part of the US--or, you know, outside of actual Mexico, but it was delicious. The only thing we thought was strange is that my husband asked for a quesadilla and was told it came with ground beef. Â We weren't used to that, but he got something else anyways.
This place, the food, and especially the service are top-notch!
The building has a nice comfortable feel to it. small but cozy and nice. the food on the other hand is another story. portion sizes are nice but the food quality was lacking. None of the dishes served to our party were anything near the actual quality of Mexican food. rice is not supposed to be crunchy and the toppings on the chimichanga that i was served looked like the toppings were just thrown on the plate an no care was taken. the restaurant its self was nice, the food just wasn't
