We travel US 52 between Indiana and Metamora on a regular basis, and have stopped at El Reparo twice now when we've been there at meal time.
For a small town Mexican restaurant, I believe this is above average in all areas. Â The service is always prompt and friendly, the food is always tasty, and the prices are more than fair.
This last trip, I tried something new.....Pollo Reparo. Â I have a new favorite Mexican dish!! Â A tasty blend of chicken, bacon(!), mushroom, and onion, I was blown away by the taste and texture of this dish. Â If you're looking for something a little out of the ordinary Fajitas, Tacos, or Burritos, I HIGHLY recommend you giving this dish a try.
Both times we've been here, it's been extremely busy, but the staff has always done a great job of handling a restaurant full of patrons in a timely matter. Â El Reparo is our go to place in Rushville!
This Mexican joint was perfectly fine and served our needs. Â We were looking for a restaurant to stop for a bite as we drove through the area and this place looked pretty decent. Â It's nothing amazing, but there aren't a ton of options around and we were pleased with their typical Mexican-American fare. Â I had fajitas and they were served as they are at most places. Â El Reparo won't blow you away but in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
