The best Mexican in Versailles and probably Lexington as well.  The prices are very fair, and the menu varied.  I love the Chile Rellenos, not so much a fan of the refried beans but they're the same as you get anywhere.  Ask for the "hot sauce" that has the sliced carrots and peppers if you like spicy food.  I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes very good Mexican food, very fair prices, and excellent service.  They even have Menudo on the weekend (I think on Saturday but it could be Sunday).  It's casual and fun and the food is great and the beer is cold!

The authentic dishes are very good.  I've never has a issue with the food, however if your not into screaming babies or kids running in and out of the kitchen it can be a little annoying. I've only been at night so I can't speak for day experiences.

There prices are amazing, I has a couple of modellos some enchiladas and cheese stuff for under 12 bucks, and it was very tasty.

Quick service and cold beer make Mexican dining very enjoyable. My husband and I enjoyed our lunch of chips, tacos and burritos. Although, not on the menu, the staff was able to make a vegetarian taco for me using the fajita vegetables and it was very good.

You don't come to a place like this for the ambiance, you come for the  fresh, delicious, and well-priced Mexican food, and El Tapatio delivers.

Housed in what used to be a fast-food place, the exterior is unassuming, but the interior is homey enough. Servers are gracious and attentive and the menu is extensive, with a page on the back of lunch specials.

The complementary chips were warm and crisp and the salsa was very fresh, spiked with little bits of cilantro and onion. My mom and husband shared the 'fajitas for two' with beef and chicken (shrimp was also an option) that came out on a giant sizzling platter with accompanying plates of rice, refried beans, plus lettuce, sour cream, etc. and flour tortillas.

I got the Enchiladas Verdes with chicken that also came with sides of rice and refried beans (sides were good, but nothing special). The Verde sauce was probably some of the best I've had, lots of heat, but still flavorful, and the shredded chicken inside was tender and juicy.

They have daily specials posted on a board in addition to the menu. Avoid the iced tea (instant, not brewed), but the beer is cheap. They will bring a check to the table, but you pay up front at the end. ¡Buen apetito!
